Simpson appears to start the fight by slamming his hand into Hill’s chest and walking him backwards in the footage. Hill also had a post hit on Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby.

Hill was originally given a two-game punishment for the punch, but it was reduced to one game after an appeal. The principal angle of the incident (which you can see above) starts only a fraction of a second before Hill swings.

Hill will be inactive for the Cowboys’ Week 13 game against the New Orleans Saints. However, he is confident that this new perspective will assist to change the public’s understanding of the incident.
