Seth Rogen, a multi-millionaire Hollywood star, has been severely ridiculed on social media for his “privileged” reaction to increased crime in Los Angeles.

“It’s called living in a major city,” the actor-producer told YouTuber Casey Neistat, who said that he was robbed when his car was broken into, “because Los Angeles is a crime-riddled 3rd world shithole.”

“So our vehicles got robbed this morning because Los Angeles is a criminal offense 3rd world shithole of a city,” Neistat tweeted on Wednesday, “but tremendous appreciation and gratitude to the hardworking officers at the @LAPDWestLA who not only arrested the motherfucker but also returned all of our stolen goods.”

Rogan tweeted in response to Neistat’s post, saying, “Dude, I’ve lived here for almost 20 years.” You’re completely insane, ha-ha. It’s a beautiful day here. Make sure nothing valuable is left in it. It’s referred to as “city life.”

“I can still be upset tho right?” Neistat remarked in response to Rogen. “I feel so violated,” the actor said, revealing that his car had been broken into and burgled at least 15 times.

“You may be upset,” Rogen, who is worth an estimated $80 million, added, “but I think I don’t personally regard my car as an extension of me, and I’ve never felt violated any of the 15 or so times my car has been stolen into.”

“Once a person unintentionally left a nice knife in my car,” the actor said, “so if it keeps occurring, you could receive a small reward.”

“I didn’t get any snacks,” Neistat said. He just stole the decorations for my daughter’s 7th birthday celebration and placed bloody handprints on the table. “How did your automobile be broken into 15 times?” is a genuine question.

Rogen went on to say that Los Angeles is “not some shithole city” in a follow-up tweet.

“Also, it’s a bummer your stuff got taken,” he added, “but LA isn’t some shithole place,” adding, “As far as large cities go, it has a lot going for it.”
