Thursday, the last three episodes of the highly anticipated documentary series about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came out on Netflix.

The most recent episodes of the six-part series “Harry & Meghan” are about Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their top royal positions in 2020. Harry blames “institutional gaslighting” and Meghan says she was “fed to the wolves.”

After leaving, Harry, Meghan, and their two children moved to California, where they now run a foundation and a production company that helped make the Netflix show.

Netflix says that the first three episodes of the series, which came out on December 8, were the biggest documentary debut the company has ever had. Here is what we know so far about the last three episodes of “Harry & Meghan.”

Harry Describes the ‘terrifying’ Family Meeting at Sandringham

Harry, who is fifth in line for the British throne, talks for the first time about the family meeting at Sandringham that Queen Elizabeth II set up after Harry and Meghan said they would step down from key royal positions in January 2020.

The family meeting was attended by the queen, Harry’s father, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William, who is the heir. Meghan said that she wasn’t invited to the conference.

Meghan said, “Imagine a conversation, a roundtable discussion, about the future of your life when the stakes are this high, and you, as the mom, the wife, and in many ways the target, are not invited to have a seat at the table.” Harry added, “It was clear to me that they planned it so that you weren’t in the room.”

Harry said he had “great memories” of Sandringham, where the royal family spends Christmas, but that he came back for the family summit “under quite different circumstances.”

At the meeting, he was given five options. He chose the third, a “half in, half out” model that would let him and Meghan keep their “own jobs” while working “in support of the queen.” He saw that that goal was “not up for debate or discussion.”

“It scared me when my brother yelled and screamed at me, and my dad said things that were just not true,” Harry said. “But you have to realize that from the family’s point of view, especially hers, there are ways to do things, and her ultimate mission, goal, or responsibility is the institution.”

“People around her are telling her, ‘By the way, that idea or these two doing X, Y, or Z will be seen as an attack on the institution,’ and she’ll listen to what they say,'” he said.

The royal family hasn’t said anything about the documentary series. Netflix said that the interviews for the series were finished in August, which was one month before the queen died at the age of 96.

Harry said that the meeting was tough. “No action plan came out of that meeting,”

He also said, “His family.” From their point of view, it was more about us and maybe our problems than about their partner, the media, or themselves, and that connection was what was making us so sad. “They saw what they wanted.”

Harry Says Rejecting Bullying Left Him and Meghan “No Other Alternative”

In the docuseries, Harry said that after the Sandringham meeting, some news stories said that William had “bullied” him and Meghan out of the royal family. Harry says he never agreed to the joint statement that he and William later made to deny the bullying claims.

Harry couldn’t believe it. “Nobody asked me. I wasn’t asked to sign that.” When Harry called Meghan, she was also upset. Harry said, “She broke down in tears because they were happy to lie to protect my brother within four hours, but they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us for three years.”

He was probably talking about the palace when he said this. Meghan realised, “This will never end.”

“Every rumour, every bad thing, every lie, everything that I knew wasn’t true, that the palace knew wasn’t true, and that they themselves knew wasn’t true was just left to grow,” she said.

“At this point, there was no other choice,” Harry said. “I said that we need to leave.” Harry denies rumours in the media that Meghan made them quit their royal roles in the show.
