In an Instagram video, Selena Gomez, who plays one of the main characters on the show, broke the news. Selena Gomez posted a video on Instagram with Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Steve Martin, and others.
The video was an announcement that Streep would be joining the cast of the TV show Only Murders in the Building as one of the main characters.
Meryl Streep’s role in Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building hasn’t been revealed yet, and it’s not clear if she’ll just be a guest or if she’ll be there often.
But after starring in the second season of HBO’s Big Little Lies and the final season of Only Murders in the Building, Streep will play the role of “only murders in the building” for the first time in the TV show.

In the second season finale of the murder mystery comedy on Hulu, Paul Rudd makes a cameo appearance. Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Steve Martin are all part of the main cast.

There’s a Lot to Look Forward to in Only Murders in the Building’s Third Season
In the fall of 2017, only Murders in the Building will come back for a third season, and Paul Rudd will make a cameo in the season two finale.
At the end of season 2, Mabel and Alice’s relationship was still a little bit unclear because Alice was an artist who used Mabel’s trauma to make her art.
But Alice had to apologise to Mabel for their fights for them to stop. In the next season, we’ll also find out what happened between Ben and Charles before the opening performance, which led them to make vague threats.
Steve Martin has said that filming for season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has already started, even though there is no set date for the season’s premiere. Still, since each of the first two seasons came out once a year, season 3 is likely to come out in 2023.
