Two vehicle crashes with wounds were accounted for Wednesday evening as blowing snow fell in northeastern Nevada.
One accident was on Mountain City Highway at 4:20 p.m. and the different was Interstate 80 in Eureka County around 20 miles west of Carlin at 4:45 p.m., as indicated by Nevada State Police.
The Nevada Department of Transportation revealed unfriendly driving conditions on Lamoille and most different parkways in Elko County. Chains or snow tires were needed on Emigrant Pass and Secret Pass.
A colder time of year climate warning was given by the National Weather Service for the Elko region late Wednesday evening.
One to three creeps of new snow were normal by 9 p.m.
The shot at snow showers resumes Thursday through Friday as high temperatures stay beneath freezing.
