Grizzlies outscore Thunder by 73, set NBA record

The Memphis Grizzlies had been added another historical feat to the franchise, this time they had scored a franchise-high of 152 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Grizzlies had beat OKC by an NBA-record margin of around 73 points with their 152-79 victory.
Just back in the month of February, OKC had taken a 57-point loss at home in a 152-95 defeat to the Indiana Pacers by making it the largest home defeat in the history of this league. With the loss to the Grizzlies, they had now added the worst road to the loss of the franchise’s historical milestones. The loss had surpassed the 68-point margin loss with the Miami Heat suffered from losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the year 1991.
While Ja Morant was still had sidelined due to a knee injury, Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis’ success which was scoring of 27 points on 9-for-11 shooting as well as made for 6/7 from the three-point arch in just 20 minutes. Memphis had led 31-16 after the first quarter had been 72-36 at the half and 113-62 after being the third.
The Grizzlies without the leading scorer had Ja Morant which had shot 62.5 percent and had nine players in double figures to set up a franchise record for the points in a game with 152. Jaren Jackson Jr. Had led the way with 27 points in mere 20 minutes. The Grizzlies reserves had 93 bench points which was outscored the entire Oklahoma City team.
