Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) responded to a Russian politician who publicly campaigned for his kidnapping in a succinct and to-the-point manner on Wednesday. According to the Daily Beast, State Duma member Aleksei Zhuravlyov made the bold suggestion on Russian state television that the Arizona congressman be kidnapped, brought to Russia, and compelled to explain “whom he wished to kill.” This was in reaction to Gallego’s request for more military action to defuse Russia’s aggression along the Ukrainian border.
