As for not getting their money for free, millions of Californians have expressed their dissatisfaction. Some people are questioning if the government has forgotten about them or if there is a payment issue.

The stimulus checks, which may be valued up to $1,100, are part of the Golden State Stimulus II program, which aims to assist low- and middle-income residents.

Individuals who earn less than $75,000 per year and submitted their 2020 taxes by October 15 are eligible for the payout.

This week, a total number 750,000 checks had been distributed around the state. Before the end of 2021, a total of nine million people in California will receive a state stimulus payment.

The zip code you live in is one of the most prevalent explanations.

Thankfully, the California State Tax Commission has provided a list of the dates through which your zip code might expect repayment, assuming you get cash by paper check.
