Bryan Cranston is ready to do a Malcolm in the Middle reunion project and see the Wilkerson family again after 20 years.

Cranston, who played Hal Wilkerson, the family patriarch, told E! News that the cast has talked about making another movie together. The show tugs at your heartstrings because it was a popular sitcom in the early 2000s.

It was about a suburban family and the everyday adventures of five brothers. Cranston tells us what’s going on with the possible reunion by saying,

Cranston and Jan Kaczmarek played the parents of five wild brothers: Francis (Christopher Masterson), Reese (Justin Berfield), Malcolm (Frankie Muniz), Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan), and Jamie (Christopher Masterson) (James and Lukas Rodriguez).

Muniz played a child genius who often broke the fourth wall to tell the audience about his problems. The idea was confirmed by the show’s creator, Linwood Boomer, back in October when he said, “We’re discussing it.

We all think it would be fun if we could come up with a good plan. If people weren’t so annoying, it would go much faster.”

Muniz has said that he wants to be a race car driver full-time, and he has also said that both he and Cranston are “really into the idea.” He also said that Cranston was “kind of in charge of writing the script and getting things going.”
