BLM Leader Refuses to Stop Riots

The Black Lives Matter leader stormed out of a Saturday night interview with Fox News’ Dan Bongino, warning “bloodshed” if police reform is not enforced in New York City.

Co-founder of New York’s Black Lives Matter movement Hawk Newsome argued with the conservative commentator over rioting and damage linked to his group following police use of force.

Forensic investigator Bongino questioned BLM leader about the “riots and building burnings” that erupted last year in New York following police-involved incidents.

“No. What I’ll say is that I understand why people lash out when a police officer murders someone unjustly.

“I absolutely understand,” Newsome said, adding, “I’m not going to criticize it, and I’m not going to condone it.”

Bongino retaliated, accusing him of being “cowardly” and unable to answer questions when pressed despite saying “a lot of garbage.”

“Do you approve or disapprove of violence?” You’re strewn around all over the place. Just condemn the use of violence and the torching of buildings. How difficult is it? ” said the Fox anchor.

Newsome linked BLM demonstrations to the reaction from US police after 9/11 after claiming that Bongino wasn’t giving him a chance to respond.

“So, when Osama bin Laden bombed the World Trade Center, did you suggest that America should deal with it peacefully?”

“Newsome replied, leading Bongino to claim that the terrorist strikes in New York had nothing to do with the unrest.

“OK, I’ll give you this,” Newsome said. I don’t condone it, I don’t support it, but I won’t say it’s wrong.”

“You’re trying to bait me,” he said after cutting the conversation short.

Following Mayor-elect Eric Adams’ announcement last week to bring back plainclothes anti-crime cops to tackle the spike in violent crimes, Newsome warned “riots,” “fire,” and “bloodshed.”

“If they believe they’re going back to the old tactics of police,” Newsome had stated, “we’re going to go to the streets again.” “Riots will erupt.” There will be slaughter and there will be flames.”
