Sterling Shepard Led The League In Touchdowns From The Slot Last Season

August 2, 2017

According to Pro Football Focus, New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard led the league with eight touchdowns in the slot last season.

Shepard, who is now entering his second NFL season, was carted off the field today at practice after suffering a low-ankle sprain.

Judging by his latest Instagram post, the severity of the injury seems to be minor.

With Victor Cruz now out of his hair, Shepard will have the slot all to himself which could mean big things with Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall beside him.
