New York Giants Unveil Rookie Jersey Numbers

Y’all were probably wondering what number each New York Giants draft choice would wear, I’m assuming – right?

So, here it is, according to NJ.com:

Evan Engram – 88

The last (good) Giants pass catcher to wear number 88 was Hakeem Nicks, someone who was also a first-round pick.

Dalvin Tomlinson – 94

This was Mark Herzlich’s number, so I’m sure Tomlinson had to give up something in order to get it from the veteran linebacker.

Davis Webb – 5

Davis Webb is going the Kerry Collins route with the selection of number 5.

It was reported yesterday that the third round rookie will likely be inactive his entire rookie season.

Wayne Gallman – 30

The man they expect to bring the thunder in the run game has chosen the number 30.

Brian Mitchell, the kick returner, once wore that number as well.

Avery Moss – 91

Justin Tuck’s number is not yet retired (although one could argue that it should be), so Avery Moss decided to snag it before it (potentially) became unavailable.

Adam Bisnowaty – 66

A number once owned by two-time Super Bowl champion David Diehl, Adam Bisnowaty is going to don the number 66 this season.
