According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo told the media that free agent wide receiver Victor Cruz is not an option to be signed, while also adding "never say never."

This past week, the Giants lost Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, and Dwyane Harris for the season due to injury, and Sterling Shepard is expected to miss a couple of weeks, as well.

Cruz, who spent seven seasons with the Giants, was released prior to the season after spending the summer with the Chicago Bears.

While it seems to be a nice reunion, the Giants should be more concerned with seeing what they have with some of their young guys.

Names like Travis Rudolph and Darius Powe will now get an opportunity to prove their worth in the NFL, and who knows, maybe they'll make the most of it.
