New York Giants: Jared Odrick Could Be Their Plan B If Johnathan Hankins Can’t Be Re-Signed (Report)

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, free agent defensive lineman Jared Odrick is someone to “watch” if the New York Giants can’t re-sign defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins.

Odrick, who was a first-round pick back in 2010, has spent time with both the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars over the course of his career.

In seven seasons, four times he’s registered at least 4.5 sacks, providing a pass rushing element a team like the Giants could use alongside Damon Harrison (the league’s best run stuffer).

Although he had his worst season in 2016, according to Pro Football Focus, Odrick did earn grades over 80 in both 2013 and 2014.
