After it seemed like the New York Giants had Aaron Rodgers on the ropes during the first half of this year’s Wildcard game, it all changed in the blink of an eye.
A Hail Mary from Rodgers turned the tables heading into halftime, as the Packers went on to blow out the Giants, 38-13.
Well, it seems as though Giants cornerback Eli Apple hasn’t learned his lesson on letting a game play itself out.
Before it was all over between the New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors at the Garden on Sunday night, Apple tweeted this:
Knicks bouta give the warriors their 3rd straight loss 👀

Jordan Raanan, who covers the Giants for ESPN, then dished out this zinger when the Knicks wound up losing:
Excuse me? That would have been like calling Giants-Packers after 25 minutes. https://t.co/cTPKlHzZQf
